RBT COURSE DESCRIPTION

This comprehensive 40-hour training program is designed to meet the 2026 training eligibility requirement for RBT certification. This training fulfills all requirements set forth by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB), encompassing RBT supervision, adherence to the RBT Ethics Code 2.0, and coverage of the complete RBT Task List, 2nd edition. In accordance with BACB guidelines, participants must complete the 40-hour curriculum within a period no shorter than 5 days and no longer than 180 days; the 180-day timeframe commences upon enrollment.

To become eligible for the RBT examination, learners are required to follow these steps:

1. Establish a profile on the BACB website and initiate an RBT application to obtain an RBT Certificant ID.
2. Submit a completed RBT Certification Application Attestation Form, available on the BACB website.
3. Successfully complete the 40-hour RBT Training.
4. Work collaboratively with a supervisor at their facility to finalize the RBT Initial Competency Assessment.

The training is offered independent of the BACB. Relias is an approved continuing education provider with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board.

In support of improving patient care, Relias LLC is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
